Acquisitions & Terms

All works acquired from Classified Matter are sold subject to the following studio terms. By initiating an acquisition, the collector agrees to these conditions.

Provenance & Authenticity
Every work is accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity (COA) and provenance documentation. For limited editions, the COA specifies the unique impression number and total run size

Payment & Transfer
Acquisitions are processed via secure studio invoice or dedicated payment link. Full payment is required prior to dispatch. All prices are quoted ex-VAT unless otherwise stated. UK corporate buyers may provide VAT registration details for zero-rated invoicing where applicable.

Ownership & Copyright
Title to the artwork passes to the buyer only upon full receipt of payment. The artist retains all copyright, reproduction, and moral rights to the image. No work may be reproduced, adapted, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent from the studio and the artist.

Consumer Rights & Cancellation
Due to the limited-edition and unique studio-specific nature of all works, statutory cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 do not apply. This policy does not affect your statutory rights regarding faulty or misdescribed goods.

Jurisdiction
All agreements are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
