FAQ

What is a limited edition print?

Each edition is a fixed run produced directly in the studio. Works are signed, numbered, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. The edition size is strictly limited and closed upon completion. No additional prints are produced after closure. Artist proofs are retained for studio documentation and are not part of the public release.

What is an archival pigment print?

Prints are produced using archival pigment inks (Lucia Pro / UltraChrome Pro) on acid-free Hahnemühle FineArt papers. The process is designed for long-term stability and colour fidelity. Archival integrity is maintained when works are stored or framed using UV-protective glazing and acid-free materials.

How should I handle and store the print?

Each work arrives flat in a two-layer protective assembly, wrapped in acid-free glassine paper and secured within a rigid cardboard pad. White cotton gloves are included for initial inspection. We recommend leaving the print in its protective pad until it reaches a professional framer. If you choose to inspect the surface, handle it only by the edges, rewrap it carefully in the provided materials, and return it to the pad. Prints that are removed from their archival packaging and later returned may not qualify for a refund due to handling risk.

Do you offer framing?

Framing is available for larger formats upon request. Please contact hello@classifiedmatter.co.uk for details and pricing. For standard sizes, we recommend using a reputable framer with UV-protective glazing (such as Artglass) to preserve colour stability and prevent light damage.

How does pricing work?

Edition pricing is fixed per release phase and does not change based on availability. Each series is priced according to format, paper, and production phase. Subsequent releases may vary in price and structure. All transactions are processed in GBP (£).
